Ossai Ovie Success, a former assistant to Ex-Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has shared his thoughts on Rema’s N500m donation to Christ Embassy
The popular musician made the generous donation during a church service, explaining that the church had supported his family after his father’s passing by helping his mother set up a shop.
While praising Rema for his generosity, Ossai expressed disappointment that the singer hasn’t fully committed his life to God.
He argued that giving to the church without being born again might lack true spiritual significance, as God seeks a personal relationship with individuals, not just their wealth.
Ossai urged Rema to dedicate his life to God, emphasizing that the greatest gift to God is a life devoted to serving Him.
He expressed hope that Rema’s donation would lead to a deeper spiritual commitment and that his talents would be used to advance God’s kingdom.
In Ossai’s words:
“It’s disappointing that Rema donated N105m to Christ Embassy without giving his life to God. It will be disappointing to God for anyone to give money to His church without being born again.”
He added, “May Rema’s donation be a step towards a deeper spiritual commitment, and may his talents be used to further God’s kingdom.”
