Nigerian media personality Abisoye Olukoya Michael, aka Oyemykke, has weighed in on the viral interview of Nollywood icon Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde (Omosexy).
In the chat, Omotola revealed she once received a car from a male admirer and that her husband reportedly didn’t mind.
She explained , “He is confident and felt no issue with me accepting the gift.”
Reacting on Instagram, Oyemykke said he admires Omotola but would never allow his wife, partner, or fiancée to accept such a gift.
“I am an insecure person and I believe nothing truly comes free in today’s world,” he stated.
He added that gifts from family or close friends are fine, but presents from strangers, especially men, are a no-go.
Raising his voice, he asked followers, “How would you handle this?”
The post sparked a flurry of reactions. Some fans backed Oyemykke, while others noted that Omotola’s husband doesn’t seem controlling.
One commenter argued the admirer could simply have been a well-meaning fan, given the identity was never revealed.
