The Oyo State Government has debunked rumors of the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin’s d3ath, confirming that he is alive and well
Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Wasiu Olatunbosun, stated, “Yes, Olubadan is alive, hale, and hearty. I spoke with one of his sons, Prince Olaseke Owolabi Olakulehin, who represented the family at the coronation committee.”
Similarly, the Chief Press Secretary to the Olubadan, Gbenga Ayoade, dismissed the reports as fake news, clarifying that the monarch remains in Ibadan and has not been flown out for medical attention.
The Olubadan remains in good health and continues his daily activities as usual.
