Senior Pastor Dr. Chris Okafor has reportedly sued social media commentator VeryDarkMan and Miss Chi, citing cyber harassment and defamation
The lawsuit alleges they amplified false claims against him, with his legal team describing their actions as “cyber incitement, cyberbullying, cyber harassment, cyberstalking, criminal defamation, and malicious impersonation”.
The pastor’s representatives claim Miss Chi allegations are “laughable” and aimed at exploiting Okafor’s reputation.
The statement reads: “it has come to our notice as well the public domain of the cyber incitement, Cyber-bullying, cyber harassment, cyber stalking cr!minal defamat!on, and mal!cious impersonat!on perpetrated by Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as Verydarkman and one Miss Chi.
It is no longer news that this act of criminal stalking, cybercrime and libelous article articles against our client Senior pastor Dr Chris Okafor started by one miss Doris Ogala and cohorts. However, our interests in this press briefing is on her and her laughable and gold-digging story, calculated to exploit our client.”
The legal action follows earlier online attacks reportedly instigated by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala and others. VeryDarkMan and others mentioned haven’t publicly responded to the lawsuit.
