The French midfielder was initially handed a four-year suspension in September 2023 after testing positive for elevated testosterone levels following a match against Udinese.

However, after appealing the decision, the Court of Arbitration for Sport reduced his ban to 18 months, allowing him to resume training in January 2025 and return to official matches in March.

During his suspension, Pogba and Juventus mutually terminated his contract in November 2024. Since then, he has been training individually to stay fit and is now exploring his next move.

While clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS) and Brazil have shown interest, Pogba reportedly prioritizes staying in Europe. Olympique de Marseille has emerged as a potential destination, as he looks to revive his career and remain in contention for France’s 2026 World Cup squad.
