Music executive Paulo Okoye has criticised activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju for dragging Burna Boy, in the controversy surrounding the arrest of Speed Darlington a second time
Earlier, Deji Adeyanju accused Burna Boy of hypocrisy, claiming the singer uses Fela Kuti’s activist-inspired lyrics while allegedly oppressing others.
Responding via his Instagram story, Paulo defended Burna Boy, calling out Deji for what he described as unwarranted criticism.
He referred to the activist as a “social media lawyer” and insisted he lacked the authority to malign Burna Boy’s reputation.
In a fiery post, Paulo wrote: “Deji Adeyanju or whatever they call you!!!! Can you put respect on Burna Boy’s name. Why are you even calling Burna Boy’s name?? Smh You are nothing more than a social media lawyer. Lawyer my a$$$. Get your facts right before you open your gutter mouth. Control your client.”
