PDP National Chairman Sick, Flown Abroad

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Adamu
Mu’azu is sick and has been flown abroad. Though he was flown out of the
country last week, his office kept mute about it, until Ekiti State Governor,
Ayo Fayose on Monday accused the PDP chairman of travelling out of the country
for medical treatment during the election period without informing the
president. He also insists he is sick and challenged him to deny his many
    allegations.
His media aide, Tony Amadi however released a press
statement yesterday informing Nigerians that the PDP Chairman is sick and out
of the country, and would not be returning until his medical doctors declare
    him fit.

     “The National
Chairman of PDP, Dr. Ahmad Adamu Mu’azu is sick and currently undergoing
medical attention abroad and will return to the country as soon as his doctors
are satisfied with his medical condition. He left the country last week and
hopes to be back soon,” the statement said.

“The leader of the party, President Goodluck Jonathan, the
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the party Chief Tony Anenih and Senate
President Senator David Mark and members of the National Working Committee of
the party are all aware of the Chairman’s medical trip abroad,” he also said
in another part of the statement.
