Reality TV personality Mercy Eke has spoken candidly about her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), revealing that the procedure was largely driven by the beauty trends and social pressure she experienced at the time.
During a chat with Korty EO, the Big Brother Naija Season 4 winner admitted that she kept her plans from her mother because she was certain the idea would not receive her approval.

Mercy also reflected on the challenging recovery process, describing it as one of the toughest experiences she has gone through.
She explained that the first few days after the surgery were particularly painful and that she was unable to sit or lie on her back for about two weeks while her body healed.
Although the recovery was difficult, she said she has no regrets about the decision and is pleased with the results.
“I got a BBL because it was trending and there was a lot of peer pressure. I didn’t tell my mum because I knew she would discourage me. You can’t sleep on your bum for 14 days, and you’ll cry for the first 3 days from the pain… but look, it’s soft now.”, she said.
