Peller and his wife, Jarvis, got talking about their Dangote shares, and before long, their conversation turned into jokes about their new investment.
During a livestream, Peller told Jarvis, βJarvis, we and Dangote are now co-owners of his company.β
Jarvis then asked how much he had invested, saying:
βHow much did you buy? I bought β¦1,000,000 worth of shares.β
Peller replied:
βI bought β¦200,000 worth. The reason I bought the shares is because Dangote is an old man. Before he gets to 100 years old, he will kpai, and they will share his properties and money among those of us who bought his shares.β π.
Jarvis then joked about the billionaire’s growing wealth since their investment, saying:
βEver since we invested in his company, he is β¦20 billion abi $20 billion richer.β
Peller ended the conversation with another joke, saying, βI donβt want to hear that the frog swallowed our money.β
Dangoteβs decision to offer shares in the refinery has given Nigerians an opportunity to become part-owners of one of the countryβs biggest industrial projects.
Since the IPO opened on September 14, 2026, there has been strong interest from Nigerians looking to buy into the company, with the minimum investment set at β¦5,250 for 10 shares. The offer runs until October 13, giving more investors time to participate.
