Nigerian DJ Florence Otedola, known professionally as DJ Cuppy, has stirred up debate with her plans to pursue a fourth degree at age 31.
The popular musician and socialite recently shared on social media platform X that people are pleading with her not to continue her education further.
“People are really begging me not to go back to school for a 4th degree 🤣📚 LMAO,” DJ Cuppy wrote, seemingly amused by the reactions.
This comes after DJ Cuppy’s earlier announcement about her intentions to return to school. The news was met with mixed responses, with many urging her to apply her existing knowledge rather than chase more academic qualifications.
DJ Cuppy is no stranger to higher education. She graduated from Oxford University with an MSc in African Studies in 2023, adding to her previous degrees in Business and Economics from King’s College, London, and a master’s in music business from New York University.
