Veteran entertainer Charly Boy has shared a funny memory involving former presidential candidate Peter Obi, describing an unexpected visit that left him both curious and amused
He recalled that Obi once showed up at his home carrying large Ghana-Must-Go bags, which immediately made him suspect the bags contained money.
Charly Boy said he was briefly excited, thinking he might be about to witness a generous surprise, and even started imagining what the contents could be.
According to him, he quickly moved to open the bags, expecting cash, only to discover something completely different inside.
“The day wey him come my place carry Ghana-Must-Go bags, I think say ah, Peter Obi wan break him character. I come dey calculate for my head. Cause if Peter give me money I go collect because I know say na clean money and two, he is not trying to br!b£ me. That day I been dey rush to open the Ghana-Must-Go bag. Very big big Ghana-Must-Go. If you see wetin dey inside the bag, na garden eggs and groundnut”, he said.
He explained that instead of money, the bags were filled with garden eggs and groundnuts meant for him to eat, a revelation that completely changed his expectations about the visit.
