Armed bandits on Sunday kidnapped three members of a family in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State while they were returning from a condolence visit.
Local sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the victims were abducted around 7:00 a.m. as they were heading home after paying their respects to a deceased relative.

The victims, all from Agboro community, were reportedly being taken toward Isanlu in Kogi State at the time of reporting. They have been identified as Abiodun Abidemi and Abiodun Olumide, brothers of the deceased, and Ayomide Moses, the deceased’s son.
Residents of Patigi Local Government noted that the area has remained prone to bandit attacks for months, with outlaws often defying existing security measures.
When contacted, the state Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo, claimed he was unaware of the incident, stating: “I am not aware.”
