A35-year old man, Ibrahim Adamu is currently in police net in Benin for
allegedly shaving the pubic hair of a 25-year old woman, Jumai Jasper, while
sleeping in his room.

State Police Commissioner, Samuel Adegbuyi, who paraded Adamu and 27 others at
the state police command headquarters on Wednesday, said the suspect lured the
victim “into his room, shave her arm pit hair and her pubic hair without her
consent.”

Adamu, a
resident of Aduwawa community in Benin who hails from Funtua local government
area of Katsina state, confessed to shaving the woman’s pubic hair while
sleeping, but said that the woman was his girlfriend.

added that when the woman woke up and discovered that he had shaved off her
hair, she demanded the hair but when he could not produce it, she raised alarm
and the people around the place called the police who arrested him
