At least not less than 15 buildings were damaged by heavy
rainstorm yesterday morning at Ebute Metta area of Lagos as residents prepared
to leave for church. Roofs of several houses were removed and a lot of properties destroyed. At least 10 vehicles were also damaged in
the process.

Spokesperson, for National Emergency Management Agency,
NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed the
incident and said the agency was assessing the damage and would come up with
relief packages.
