The people at Kampala market located at Asero, an area in
Abeokuta have been thrown into mourning following the death of a toddler, Ife
who is one year and three months old belonging to one of them. Ife was
discovered to have been missing, when his mom noticed he was no longer at her
shop. As usual, children play around the market. They started looking for him
and later traced him to a well which they all fetch water from and discovered his lifeless
body.

His father who described his death as a shock, said he had
only called his wife, Ife’s mom about 30mins ago asking about his welfare and
that of his mother, before they called him back to break the sad news.
