Popular Hollywood actor Benedict
Cumberbatch, has been turned into an edible chocolate sculpture standing at 6ft
tall and a whooping 40kg. The artwork was unveiled yesterday by UKTV who used
it to mark its acquisition of the third series of Sherlock. The piece took 8
people 250 man hours to create it.
It will be recalled that Benedict
Cumberbatch will not be the first person to be a subject of an edible artwork
as actress Jennifer Lawrence was once turned into a cake, the Duke and Duchess
of Cambridge were turned into a tasty-looking pizza, while President Barack
Obama had his likeness sculpted from butter. Kevin Bacon also has a bacon

while some found it funny and took selfies with it. Others also went forward to
touch it, but minded it was just an edible chocolate so as not to fall it. The
London Police were also not left out as they came with sniffer dogs who wagged
their tails as they gave it a thorough sniffing down (fear of bomb explosions,
maybe).
