Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola today commissioned a 8.4
Mega Watts Peninsula Integrated Power Project, which is a Public Private
Partnership (PPP), between the Lagos State Government and Peninsula Integrated
Power Limited, to provide power for public infrastructures in the Lekki, Ikoyi and Victoria Island axis such as the
Lekki Phase 1 Waterworks, Ligali Ayorinde Waterworks and Saka Tinubu Waterworks.
The power project will provide 25km public lighting within Lekki phase 1,
Victoria Island and Lekki-Ikoyi bridge amongst others.
