A boy almost lost his life today, 2nd December,
2015 at Oke-Odo, Ile-Epo, Lagos State, when his mother went out and then his
sister also left for school and locked him up. A fire which they are yet to
trace started from the room leaving the boy helpless. The little kid who was sharp
enough started screaming for help before a neighbour came to his rescue and
rescued him through the window. The neighbour later raised alarm leading other
people to the place and fire fighters were called.

The fire fighters however didn’t get to the place until the
whole room was left with nothing. Angry neighbours who had tried to quench the
fire with soap and water however raised abused on them, but they still did what
