The 100-level student of the Kogi State University, Anyigba, Yusuf popularly known as Santa who stabbed Ali Shariff, a 300-level student, to death on his birthday, has finally been arrested.
It all happened on Wednesday, when Shariff tried to separate Santa and another friend from fighting. Santa got upset and stabbed him on the neck with a broken bottle. He was rushed to Good Shepherd Hospital by other students, but unfortunately, he was declared dead on arrival.
Santa fled and has been on the run since then, before he was nabbed yesterday by security operatives.
