Late Ekiti Speaker’s Daughter Carries On With Her Wedding 3 Days After Father’s Death

Late Ekiti Speaker’s daughter, Abisola Afuye has carried on with her wedding just three days after her father’s shocking death.

Afuye who represented Ikere Constituency 1 at the assembly died Wednesday evening at the age of 66 after he was rushed to the state hospital due to a brief illness.

Abisola got married to her hearthrobe, Babatunde Adebayo today in Lagos.

The wedding took place precisely in GRA Lagos.

The couple held an engagement ceremony before heading to church for the white wedding.

The Speaker’s long time friend, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, the Orangun of Oke-lla in Osun State attended the ceremony.

Oba Abolarin has been a friend of the Speaker since 1975.

They were also business partners and ran a law chamber together in GRA, Ikeja.
