Photos: MTN Redefines Love At Valentine Rave Party

MTN gave Nigerian youth a profound definition of love at the
highly successful Valentine Rave Party which held at Eko Hotel & Suites on
the 14th of February, 2014 – St. Valentine’s Day. By treating thousands of
young Nigerians to live music performances by highly rated artistes and DJs
like Jimmy Jatt and Neptune, the ICT company confirms its leadership in
creating fun and meeting the desires of its customers. It was one event none
who attended would forget in a hurry. 

Regarding the glitz, glamour, fun and live entertainment
that made the rave party alluring and memorable, Mr. Kola Oyeyemi, General
Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN, said, ‘we at MTN are committed to greatly
impacting lives’.

He added that, because the company is passionate about its
customers at all levels, it always looks for avenues to create excitement in
such a way that they live each day fulfilled.

More so, he continued, ‘We love our customers, we love the
youth of this country and we wanted to create a platform where this love from
us to the customers and also amongst the customers themselves can be celebrated
with good music’.

Indeed the ICT and telecoms giant on the night of the event
defined love in different ways.

LOVE IS GIVING

The first apparent way in which love was celebrated was by
the extravagant way MTN gave out gifts lavishly to the guests. Every one of the
thousands of guests that attended got gift packs filled with goodies. Draws
were also held were randomly picked guests were given gifts such as Ipads,
high-end smartphones etc. To MTN, love is about giving and the ICT telecoms
giant manifested this generously.

LOVE IS MUSIC

Besides the gifts, the night was filled with music. At the
wheels of steel were Nigeria’s top DJs; Jimmy Jatt, Big N,  Caise, 
Neptune,  Obi and others. 

Mario, an American R & B singer, producer and writer,
rendered his popular hit songs like ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’ to the delight of the
crowd. Tiwa Savage, Chidinma, Sound Sultan and others also delighted the large
audience with their best songs.

LOVE IS DANCE

With music comes dance and dance is love. Hearts and feet
were in perfect harmony as the audience danced till the morning to the tune of
love at MTN Valentine Rave Party.

LOVE IS HAPPINESS

Love was in the air as evident in the happiness felt by
every guest at the event. The ambience seemed just right- whether they were
lovers or just friends.  Happiness was
seen clearly on the faces of the guests as they soaked in every exciting moment
of the party.

The music rendered by the artists and disc-jockeys was also
a clear source of happiness.

A highly successful event, MTN, showed thousands of
Nigerians how love can be celebrated in different ways.
