The Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja has been closed. It was virtually deserted today as the effect of the closure of the facility to flight and passengers began.
The airport will be closed for six weeks and all flights intending to land at the airport will now land at the Kaduna Airport. See more photos from the very quiet scene below..
