Phyna, has sparked a frenzy online after she cried out over an alleged assault and detention at Dalchifit Suites, a hotel located in Gwarinpa, Abuja
Taking to her Instagram page, the former BBNaija winner accused the hotel of negligence and mistreatment, claiming that touts were allowed into her room to attack her and that she was being held against her will for refusing to pay N3.5 million for alleged damages.
She wrote, “Dalchifit Hotel in Gwarinpa allowed touts to come into the hotel to fight me, and now they are about to lock me up till Monday because I refused to pay a damage fee of N3.5m. Please, I’m in prison right now.”
In a follow-up post, Phyna expressed outrage over what she described as the hotel’s failure to protect her, alleging that staff not only permitted the attackers to enter but also disclosed her room number to them.
“Because I’m Phyna, I’m being forced by a hotel that could not secure me in their premises. A hotel that allowed touts through their main gate, through reception, up to the second floor to break down the door — the same hotel that told the touts my room number. I’ve never seen that kind of thing before,” she lamented.
She also accused the management of refusing to provide CCTV footage of the incident to her and the police.
“@dalchifitsuiteshotel is locking me up till Monday because I requested for the CCTV footage to confirm the supposed damage. Till now, they’ve refused to show the CCTV footage to the police, and after putting me at risk, they are about to lock me up at Gwarinpa Police Station,” she claimed.
Amid the ordeal, Phyna shared a heartbreaking post reflecting on her struggles this year, writing, “2025 for just take me leave Ruth.”
