A young man, Qawiyu who raised a fake b@andit att@ck alarm just to gain TikTok followers has been arrested and now in the custody of police in Ogun State

Qawiyu was quoted to have admitted that the whole incident was planned just to attract attention on TikTok and increase his followers.

A video circulating on social media shows him speaking while in police custody. In the clip, he confessed:

“I raised a f@ke b@ndits attack just to gain TikTok followers. Please forgive me. My Ileya customers’ clothes are still in my shop”.

He was also questioned about how a Fulani herder appeared in the video used for the content. He explained that the herder lived and moved cattle near his shop and was approached to take part.
