Police Stops Armed Robbers From Carting Away N120m After Robbing A Bank In Port-Harcourt

    A robbery attack on a new generation bank located in Trans
    Amadi in Port Harcourt, Rivers State was foiled today by the State
    Police Command.
    According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmad
    Mohammed, the command responded to a distress call that led to them trailing
    the fleeing robbers.
    The Police PRO told Channels Television that the gang of
    eight who were fleeing in two utility vehicles engaged his men in a gun battle
    but the robbers were over powered.
    In his words, the main vehicle used for the operation was
    recovered and found to be carrying the stolen bags of money, which after
    counting was in the range of 120million naira.
