A Polish man is facing charges for allegedly helping a Russian plot to harm Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky.
Polish authorities say the man, identified as Paweł K, was involved in planning a potential attack on Zelensky by Russian spies. He’s accused of sharing info about security at an airport near the Ukrainian border.
Zelensky often uses this airport for his travels. Ukrainian officials uncovered the plot and shared evidence with Poland, leading to the man’s arrest. This isn’t the first time Zelensky has faced threats. In the past, there have been attempts on his life amid Ukraine’s conflict
with Russia. The Polish arrest comes after German police nabbed two suspected Russian agents, accused of planning sabotage attacks, including targeting US army facilities. The Russian Embassy in Berlin dismissed the accusations.
