A prominent lawyer, Rolex Ifeanyi and an unidentified client have reportedly been a$$assinated after a court session in Anambra State
According to social media reports, the incident occurred at the Nanka-Agulu boundary as the duo were returning to Awka after appearing in court in Nnaka.
The reports suggest the attack was premeditated, with assailants allegedly lying in wait to ambush the victims. Ifeanyi and his client were reportedly involved in a high-profile legal case, raising suspicions about the motive behind the k!lling.
“Barrister Rolex and client shot d3ad after court in Nnaka, Anambra State. The two were attacked at the Nanka-Agulu boundary while returning to Awka. Sources claim the assailants had been waiting, indicating a planned ambush,” a social media post read.
As of the time of filing this report, security agencies have yet to release an official statement on the incident.
