A provocative statement by Nigerian singer Portable has sparked outrage and controversy, as he called for residents of Ibadan to vacate Lagos
This declaration comes amid a highly publicized and escalating feud between Portable and the people of Ibadan.
In a video circulating widely on social media platform X, Portable expressed his frustration and discontent with the situation, stating that he is more than prepared to escalate the situation if necessary.
He made a bold and contentious demand, insisting that if Ibadan residents do not want him to visit their city, then they must leave Lagos in return.
Portable’s statement was unapologetic and uncompromising, as he declared, “If it’s a fight, let’s do it. You don’t like us anymore, and we don’t like you either. If I shouldn’t come to Ibadan again, all Ibadan people must go.”
He further emphasized his point, saying, “All Ibadan people in Lagos, pack your things and go. Ibadan must leave Lagos. If you tell me not to come to Ibadan, then all of Ibadan in Lagos must go too.”
