Sometimes, you just get to a point where you realise you don’t have to put every part of your life online.
Rapper Erigga questioned how people feel the need to post their trips, cars, dinners and who they are spending time with, even though most people are busy with their own lives.
In a post shared on his page. He said:
“I DON’T KNOW WHO NEEDS TO HEAR THIS, but I told someone this recently… Posting everything you do on social media is a waste of time. Your life isn’t that exciting. Neither is mine.
“We post the trips, cars, dinners and who we’re with because our ego wants people to think we’re important. Meanwhile, everyone else is busy living their own life. Nobody really gives a shit what vacation you’re on, what you drive, or who you’re with. And once you realize that, social media gets a lot less exhausting.”
