President Biden has issued a statement in response to the shooting incident at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. On Twitter, he expressed gratitude that Trump is “safe and doing well.”
He wrote, “I’ve been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well. My prayers are with him, his family, and all those who attended the rally as we await further information.”
He also commended the Secret Service for their prompt action in getting Trump to safety.
President Biden emphasized the need for unity in condemning violence, stating, “There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it.”
