President of Nigeria’s Shari’ah council passes away

The President of the Supreme Council for Shari’ah in Nigeria (SCSN), Sheikh Abdul Rasheed Hadiyatullah, has passed away

Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan, the Grand Mufti of Yorubaland, said this in a statement he signed on Monday night.

He, however, did not give the details of where the late Muslim cleric d!ed and when.

Sheik Molaasan said the late Sheik Hadiyatullah d!ed leaving a significant void in the country’s Islamic leadership.
