President Bola Tinubu has congratulated renowned cleric and founder of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, William Folorunso Kumuyi, on his 85th birthday.
In a statement issued on Saturday by the President’s Senior Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu praised Pastor Kumuyi’s decades of service to Christianity, describing him as a visionary leader whose faith, wisdom and commitment have sustained a thriving ministry for more than five decades.
The President also acknowledged the global impact of Kumuyi’s evangelistic outreach through the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), noting that his teachings have touched millions of lives across different countries.
“As the convener of Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), your voice has reached beyond the church walls and national borders, bringing hope and encouragement to millions across the world.
“Your writings have illuminated minds, inspired hearts, and provided timeless guidance to those seeking truth and purpose,” Tinubu stated.
The President further commended the cleric’s influence on individuals, families and communities, saying his ministry has played a significant role in strengthening faith and inspiring leadership among believers.
Tinubu also offered prayers for the respected preacher as he marks the milestone age.
“On this special day, I pray that Almighty God continues to grant you strength, divine health, peace, and abundant grace,” the President said.
