President Bola Tinubu paid a courtesy visit to Aisha Buhari, the widow of late President Muhammadu Buhari, ahead of his attendance at the wedding of Nasirudeen Yari in Kaduna
Seated with his officials and close associates, Tinubu expressed solidarity with the Buhari family during their time of mourning.
“We share in your grief, we share in your pain, and the love of flesh is not the love that’s in the spirit. The spirit that’s left with us is the spirit of hard work, dedication, faithfulness, and honesty. We abide in that.
“We assure you and the entire family that I will continue the legacy of our lives and the spirit that’s in the process. Thank you for everything that you do. The imagination is there. We are going to see it. Thank you for seeing it.
“And that spirit, that practice, that integrity, and that character, that’s what we invite you to know. May God bless my dear, keep all of us united, together, and bring us to the promised land. I beg God, grant him identity. Thank you.”
