President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to visit China in early September to boost economic cooperation and attract investments to Nigeria
The trip aims to strengthen bilateral relations and explore key economic opportunities.
During a briefing, Special Adviser Ajuri Ngelale stated that President Tinubu will visit major Chinese companies like Huawei and China Rail and Construction Corporation to accelerate the Lagos-Kano rail project’s completion.
He will also meet with CEOs of 10 top Chinese corporations, managing over $3 trillion in assets across various sectors.
Additionally, President Tinubu will hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping to sign Memoranda of Understanding on several crucial sectors, including the green economy, agriculture, satellite technology, media enterprise development, blue economic initiatives, and national planning collaboration.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity for the two presidents to discuss broader issues of mutual interest, such as economic partnerships, security, and global challenges.
