Gambian actress Princess Shyngle has threatened to expose an unidentified individual accused of using an American Express card bearing her name at Lagos District.
The actress, visibly furious in a post shared online, said the incident occurred on Tuesday night, raising suspicions that someone may be using her personal information without her authorisation.
Determined to get to the bottom of the matter, Shyngle said she would seek CCTV footage from the establishment to identify the individual and make their identity public.
She said:
“Whoever you are that went to Lagos District yesterday with an American Express card with my name on it, I’m coming for you!”
The actress further disclosed that she had contacted the police, saying the alleged incident could lead to a formal investigation.
Expressing disbelief at finding herself in such a situation, Shyngle said:
“I would have never thought in my wildest dreams I would ever be a victim of identity theft.”
