Principal suspect of murdered FUTMinna lecturer in custody
The principal suspect Dr (Mrs) Fumilola Adefolalu, who was murdered on Saturday night in her residence, has been arrested.
It was learnt the mother of the suspect handed her over to the police when she arrived home in the early hours of Tuesday after being on the run since the day the murder was committed.
The deceased, a lecturer at the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMinna) was stabbed to death in her residence at Gbaiko area of Minna in Niger State.
The suspect who is in police custody while unconfirmed sources claimed that she confessed to have committed the crime with two others still at large.
The church of the deceased where she was a Pastor, the Voice of Mercy Ministry, called on security operatives to ensure that everyone involved in the murder faces the full wrath of the law.
