Probe Aregbesola! Osun State Judge Takes It Further, Sues SPEAKER, LEGISLATORS

You don’t mess with a judge! Justice Folahanmi Oloyede who
earlier called for the impeachment of Gov. Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State and
his Deputy, Mrs Grace Laoye-Tomori, over alleged financial misconduct has filed
a motion in an Osogbo High Court, challenging the Osun State House of Assembly’s
handling of a petition she forwarded to it.

The House, on receipt of the petition, had set up an Ad
hoc/Fact-finding Committee with Speaker Najeem Salam giving the committee one
week to submit its report. The House later considered the report of the panel,
dismissed Oloyede’s petition and recommended sanctions against her.

This has however made her take a step further by suing them
for not handling the petition well and also calling for her sanction.

It will be recalled that a woman has also recently accused
the judge of snatching away her husband, an allegation a group of people have called
baseless and false, just because she called for the Governor’s probe.
