Paris Saint-Germain secured a place in the UEFA Champions League final after defeating Arsenal 2–1 in the second leg of their semi-final clash on May 7, sealing a 3–1 win on aggregate
Fabián Ruiz gave PSG the lead in the 27th minute with a powerful strike from outside the box, and Achraf Hakimi doubled their advantage in the 72nd minute. Arsenal responded just four minutes later with a goal from Bukayo Saka, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma delivered a standout performance, making several key saves to deny Arsenal a comeback.
The result sends PSG to their first Champions League final in five years, where they will face Inter Milan on May 31 in Munich. The victory also marks a major milestone for manager Luis Enrique in his first season at the helm.
