More than 30 officers have raided a bedding factory near Tipton, West Midlands, arresting a dozen people suspected of working illegally 
The operation, part of ongoing efforts to crack down on illegal workers, saw workers attempting to flee upon seeing officers.

Seven Indian men were arrested for suspected illegal working, while one man breached bail conditions related to an earlier immigration offense. Despite being offered a voluntary return to India and a £3,000 payment, he declined.
Four additional Indian men were arrested at a nearby cake factory for visa violations. An Indian woman was also arrested for immigration offenses at a nearby home. The crackdown reflects heightened enforcement measures by the Home Office to deter illegal immigration.
