Rapper Jayceon Terrell Taylor, widely known as The Game, has been compelled to put his Calabasas, California mansion up for sale to help satisfy a $7 million judgment awarded to Priscilla Rainey

Per newly surfaced court documents, a judge has approved the sale of the property to contribute toward the $7,130,100 Rainey was granted in a 2018 court victory. The documents state that if the sale is likely to generate enough funds to cover both the homestead exemption and any senior liens—while still producing some money toward the judgment—the sale must proceed.

Rainey originally sued The Game in 2015, accusing him of sexual assault during the production of the VH1 reality show She Got Game. The rapper failed to appear for multiple court dates, leading to a default judgment in Rainey’s favor.

By July 2023, U.S. District Judge Mark C. Scarsi issued a notice of levy and writ of execution after alleging that The Game transferred the home’s deed to his manager, Wack 100, in an attempt to shield the asset. The court summoned The Game last October to argue why the mansion shouldn’t be sold, but the sale was ultimately approved.

Currently listed for $4 million, the mansion’s potential sale would still leave approximately $3 million unpaid if sold at asking price.

Despite the ruling, The Game has shown no intention of complying with the judgment. In 2020, he mocked Rainey on social media during the pandemic, writing:

Meanwhile, Rainey pursued legal remedies. That same year, she was awarded ownership of The Game’s Prolific Records label and began collecting royalties from his Born to Rap album.
