The Ravens and Orioles teams are joining forces to help Baltimore, contributing a total of $10 million to the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse emergency relief fund.
This generous donation comes in the wake of a tragic accident where a cargo ship collided with the bridge, resulting in casualties and extensive damage.
Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti expressed condolences to the victims and their families, emphasizing their commitment to support recovery efforts and assist affected individuals and businesses in Maryland.
Star player Lamar Jackson also shared his sympathy and solidarity with those impacted by the incident.
The donated funds will aid families, port workers, first responders, and businesses affected by the disaster, providing crucial support during this challenging time.
Efforts are underway to reopen commercial shipping at the port by the end of April, with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers leading the restoration plan.
