Brazilian sensation Endrick has claimed his future will be decided by ‘what God tells my wife’ as he continues to shine on-loan at Lyon from Real Madrid
The 19-year-old scored the clinching goal in Lyon‘s 4-2 win over Rennes at the weekend to move the club into the Champions League places in Ligue 1.
That gives Endrick 15 goal contributions – eight goals and seven assists – in 18 games since joining on loan in January.
He had made just nine starts for Real Madrid in 18 months at the club following his £51 million move in 2024.
But when asked about possibly staying at Lyon after the loan spell, the Brazilian revealed that his wife Gabriely Miranda, 23, will have a decisive say in his future.
He told Globo: “It’s like I always say. If I’m meant to stay here, if I’m meant to return to Real Madrid, if I’m meant to go somewhere else, I’ll do what God tells me. What God tells my wife.
I thank God for bringing me here, I’m very happy to be here.
“But that’s it, I’ll do what God tells me to do, what God puts in my wife’s head to do.
“Coming to Lyon was one of my best choices, I thank God very much for that because I came to a team that welcomed me.
