The ‘Calm Down‘ hitmaker is set to perform at the nuptials of Anant Ambani, son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharmaceutical tycoons.
Rema teased his arrival on Instagram with a video of himself boarding a private jet, dressed in sleek all-black attire. The post, featuring his track ‘Azaman‘ and an Indian flag emoji, hinted at the excitement to come.
The wedding, scheduled for July 12 at Mumbai’s Jio World Centre, is the grand finale of a months-long celebration by the Ambani family.
Rema’s performance comes with a reported $3 million price tag for his chart-topping hit ‘Calm Down’. He’s in good company, with Justin Bieber reportedly earning $10 million for his appearance, while pop icon Rihanna has already graced the event with her presence.
