The Nigerian film industry is reeling in shock following the sudden demise of celebrated actor and producer Chijioke Ike
The tragic news was announced by fellow producer Stanley Ontop on Instagram, leaving fans, colleagues, and loved ones heartbroken.
According to Ontop, Chijioke’s untimely d3ath occurred during a family gathering in his hometown, where he unexpectedly slumped and failed to recover.
Ontop’s emotional post described the loss as a “black day” for Nollywood’s eastern sector, praising Chijioke as a “vibrant” producer and market leader.
