Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo has raised questions over the circumstances surrounding the de.ath of retired Major General Abubakar Rabe, who d!ed while in b.andits’ captivity in Katsina State
Reacting to the development, the cleric wondered how the deceased officer’s body was recovered and how authorities arrived at the conclusion that he d!ed from complications related to diabetes and hypertension.
“How did the k!dnappers release the body of the late General to the Katsina State Government for burial and how did the state government know he d!ed of diabetes and high BP without autopsy? The vengeance of God is near,” Dachomo said.
His comment comes days after the Katsina State Government announced that the retired military officer di.ed while in captivity, attributing his de.ath to health complications.
The late general was a.bducted on May 30 along the Marabar Musawa–Kafinsoli road in Matazu Local Government Area while travelling with his wife and driver.
