Sources close to Jennifer Garner, 52, has revealed, she has significantly distanced herself from Jennifer Lopez, 55, and now wishes to communicate only when matters involve their children
During Lopez’s marriage to Ben Affleck, Garner reportedly played a complex role, acting as a “marriage counsellor” to the struggling couple.
Some of her friends believe she was essentially forced to “play mediator” during this challenging period.
“Jen no longer wishes to have communication with JLo unless it is do with the kids,” an insider told DailyMail.com.
The source added, “Her friends feel she shouldn’t have allowed herself to get so involved in helping JLo to fix her marriage to Ben.”
Previously, Garner had been perceived as being used as a “pawn” during the breakdown of Lopez and Affleck’s marriage.
In the months leading to Lopez’s official divorce filing, Garner had attempted to help stabilize their relationship, a situation her friends now view with concern.
Garner has now chosen to establish clear boundaries, focusing exclusively on co-parenting and maintaining communication only when their children are involved.
