Charly Boy has stirred conversation with a bold call for Nigerians to fiercely protect their votes in the 2027 general elections – even if it means risking their lives
In a recent interview with Jay On-Air, Charly Boy said Nigerians must be ready to remove the current administration “by any means necessary,” warning that the situation in the country may worsen before any real change occurs.
He described the Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government as being “ten times more corrupt” than the late President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime.
“All I care about now is whether our votes will truly count in 2027,” he said.
“This isn’t about who can steal more — Mr A or Mr B. The people looting this country come from every tribe, and we all know how the system works.”
The singer added that he envisions a fierce resistance in 2027, saying, “I’m hoping for a ‘rig and d!e’ scenario. Blood may flow, but that’s sometimes the price for real change.”
