According to the statement, the summons is part of an official inquiry into appointments made under the Fubara administration over the past two years. Fubara has been instructed to present full documentation and records related to those appointments, including the rationale and procedures followed.
The statement further revealed that the session would also provide an opportunity for Fubara to justify why he believes he should be reinstated as governor.
The appearance is scheduled as follows:
Date: Friday, April 18, 2025
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Venue: Conference Room, Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt
Attendance is mandatory for both Fubara and Ordu. The inquiry is part of the Sole Administrator’s ongoing efforts to promote transparency, accountability, and lasting peace in Rivers State governance.
