Riyah Abdul faults Ossai over support for ‘Elumelu’ Girl

TV personality, Riyah Abdul has questioned the conduct of Delta State Governor’s aide, Ossai Success, after he offered ₦500,000 and other benefits to the young woman who addressed UBA chairman, Tony Elumelu by his first name

Ossai announced the offer following the incident involving the young woman during a UBA graduate training programme. The package includes ₦500,000 in cash, a trip to Asaba, hotel accommodation, VIP access to the Delta Social Media Summit and an ambassadorial role.

But Riyah believes the intervention is another example of Ossai drawing unnecessary attention to himself and the state government.

Speaking about the development, she said the Delta State Government should consider replacing him, arguing that his actions have repeatedly placed the administration in an unfavourable position.

“If you ask me, I think the Delta State Government should start thinking about replacing Mr. Success because he always brings shame at every point. This is not the first time. If it was the first time, I would have let it slide,” she said.

Riyah also questioned the need for Ossai to become involved in matters that, in her view, do not fall within the focus of his official responsibilities.

She challenged him to concentrate more on his work as a government aide instead of seeking attention through public interventions.

“You have a job. Why don’t you focus on that? Why are you always trying to trend?” she added.
