Robber Gives Girlfriend Stolen Gold Necklace Still Covered In Victim’s Blood

Crime scene: Keir Hardie Terrace, in Swffryd, Crumlin, where
    the robbery took place
A court has jailed two robbers for almost 3years imprisonment
each for attacking a victim at a party and stealing his gold necklace.
One of the robbers Ryan Meek, 29 gave his girlfriend the
gold chain he stole in a violent robbery, which was still stained with the
blood of his victim, before the police busted his house and found the necklace
with his girlfriend and mother of his one year old son.
After a test was conducted it revealed it the necklace
belonged to Mr Harrison and Meek was charged alongside with his friend.

Cardiff Crown Court heard Meek, his friend, Dean Partridge,
32 and Ross Harrison, their victim, had all been at a party in Keir Hardie
Terrace in Swffryd, Crumlin, on August 2. They found his necklace valued at
£1,400 attractive and attacked him, before getting away with it.
Both men originally denied robbery but changed their pleas
to guilty on the first day of their trial. Meek has 20 previous convictions and
Partridge has one, the prosecutor said.
The court was also told Meek has a one-year-old child and
Partridge’s girlfriend is expecting their first. Recorder Timothy Brennan QC
was also asked to consider that Partridge had played a much lesser role and had
    fewer convictions.

That however didn’t stop the judge as Meek was jailed for
two years and nine months, while Partridge was sent to prison for two years and
    three months.
